Grief Through Our Eyes
Grief Through Our Eyes features the stories of over 30 women who share through their own words what grief from child loss looks like to them. These stories are raw and vulnerable and paint a vivid picture of what many families across the world face every single day. Creator and creative grieving artist, Tara Denz runs a Nonprofit Organization called Avery’s Garden that brought these women together to share openly and to collaboratively construct this very coloring book. Each page layout will feature the words from each mother along with an image drawn to accompany it. There are also various blank pages that can be used for self-reflection and journaling as well as uplifting quotes and phrases throughout. Avery’s Garden focuses on creative grief and the importance of finding our voices, especially through art. The proceeds of this book help us continue to grow our mission.
